We offer a free, confidential money advice service to residents of North Edinburgh. During the year 2003/04 we assisted 304 clients with debts totalling in excess of £1,100,000. We also made over 337 court appearances on behalf of clients with rent arrears during that year.

We can assist by:

• Checking that you are getting all the benefits that you may be entitled to
• Helping you to identify the most important debts and take action accordingly
• Helping you to plan a weekly or monthly budget
• Drawing up a financial statement detailing your income and expenditure
• Negotiating with your creditors on your behalf
• Advising you on court procedures and representing at court appearances where appropriate.
