As you have probably seen in the news, many gas and electricity companies have put their prices up recently. Some have increased by about 10% and this could mean up to £80 each year on your bills. Experts are warning that there may well be more increases to come next year too!

While there’s nothing you can do about the price rises, you can still do something to stop it hitting your pocket so hard.

You can always shop around and change supplier even though all the companies are likely to be raising their prices again, there will still be some that are cheaper than others.

You can try to use less gas and electricity in the first place. Changing the settings on your heating and learning how to set the times and thermostats can save substantial sums, while still keeping your home warm.
